DECEMBER 2011 NEWSLETTER

 Members in 2012 will be competing for a total prize pool of $110,000 ($22,000 per race).

The prizes are as follows:

There is a $200.00 prize available in the 5 races for any member gaining three places in the top 30 from their 4 birds. The Aggregate Points and Bird of the Year winners will receive a trophy plus a cash prize of $500.00 and $200.00, respectively.

 Our races for 2012 have not yet been decided. The SAHPA program announced for next year is certain to be reviewed at the SAHPA Annual General Meeting in late February and changes made. Whether these changes will enable the club to fly Marla remains to be seen. At present there is only a fortnight between The Twins and Marla and another week is required for the club to include Marla.

The next newsletter will be sent (March-April) after we know the SAHPA program for next year and have decided on our races. We wish all members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
