MAY 2010 NEWSLETTER
The first race is on 29th May just over two weeks away. A list showing the birds currently in the loft is attached. The birds were fitted with Electronic Timing Rings on Thursday, 13th May and the spare birds allocated.
We have reviewed the prize money announced in December and added an extra $700 per race. The total prize pool is now $86,500 ($17,300 per race).
The prizes are as follows:
1st $5800
2nd $1600
3rd $1300
4th $1000
5th- 6th $750
7th – 8th $600
9th -10th $450
11th – 20th $250
21st – 30th $150

A list of the birds sent to the first race will be emailed to members on the evening of Friday, 28th May. For the remaining 4 races, the entry list will be emailed before the race. The race results will be posted on the club website on the Saturday evenings (race day) and updated on the Monday evenings to show the birds that arrived on the second and third days. For those who receive information by mail, it is planned to send the newsletter and race results on the Tuesday after the race.
